Kenneth Trujillo moves between performance and authorship with measured precision. His lead performance in I Will Never Leave You Alone premiered at FrightFest, where critics noted the tension between restraint and rupture at the center of his portrayal. The film rests almost entirely on his presence, requiring sustained psychological pressure without spectacle.

His screen credits include Better Call Saul, The Girl from Plainville, Die Hart, Law & Order, Devotion, and The Great Lillian Hall, placing him within both prestige television and large-scale features. He recently led the cast of Pueblo Viejo, now wrapped following its development through the Tyler Perry Studios Dream Collective.

Through Kojak Films, Trujillo develops projects alongside a consistent creative circle, carrying material from script through production and release. The company’s ongoing series, Other Things, operates as a lean absurdist anthology released independently, reflecting a direct relationship between creator and audience.

The Marleys, co-written with Francisco Breton and directed by Trujillo, received Honorable Mention for Best Dark Comedy Short at Indie Short Fest and a nomination for Best Georgia Short at the Rome International Film Festival. The film is now continuing its festival run and will next screen as an Official Selection of the 2026 Athens Film Festival.

Trujillo is currently preparing Me, Mom, & Mom, a standalone feature about grief, adoption, and the complicated architecture of family. Written with Francisco Breton and developed through Kojak Films, the film represents the next stage of his work as a writer, director, and producer, separate from the larger cycle of interconnected stories being built around The Marleys.

From studio productions to self-generated projects, the focus remains the same: precise performances, character-driven stories, and the discipline to carry them from the page to the screen.
