About

Kenneth Trujillo doesn't just play characters. He disappears into them. His haunting lead performance in I Will Never Leave You Alone drew praise for its blend of restraint and chaos, establishing Trujillo as an actor drawn to emotionally volatile terrain.

From facing off with John Travolta in Die Hart to sharing the screen with Jessica Lange in The Great Lillian Hall and Bob Odenkirk in Better Call Saul, Trujillo moves fluidly between independent cinema and studio work. His performances carry a grounded, tightly wound intensity that lingers long after the cut.

Off screen, Trujillo is the founder of Kojak Films, a production company dedicated to character driven storytelling. Its flagship series, Other Things, is a darkly comic, absurdist anthology that blends existential unease with sharp, surgical humor.

Recent Kojak projects include The Marleys, a stripped down dark comedy unfolding over one hellish graveyard shift, currently under consideration at major international film festivals, and Get Benny, a chaos fueled road movie about fame, betrayal, and the mixtape that ruined everything.

As an actor, Trujillo is currently collaborating with director Andrea Camacho-McCracken on Pueblo Viejo, a Spanish language film developed through the Tyler Perry Studios Dream Collective, where Camacho-McCracken was named a Top 10 Finalist. Backed by the initiative’s focus on bold, original voices, the project reflects a continued commitment to stories rooted in cultural specificity and emotional truth.

As a filmmaker, Trujillo’s voice is sharp, strange, and unnervingly human. He rejects gimmicks and safety nets, favoring work that grips and refuses to let go. With multiple projects in motion and festival attention building, he continues to carve out a singular path through contemporary American independent film.
